The city of Destin has changed drastically in the past twenty years. It is no longer the sleepy seaside town it used to be. It has always been a gorgeous location in the upper reaches of Florida. In this same town you can go to the docks and watch the fishing boats come in with their catches of the day. The salty seamen will unpack their catch and clean it for you if you decide to make a fresh purchase. Many of these sailors sell their catches to the local restaurants so you know when you eat seafood in this area that it’s fresh and never frozen. There are many such restaurants to chose from and most of them are located on the water. Don’t forget your sunscreen while you’re enjoying your fun in Florida. One of the easiest ways to identify a tourist is by their bright red sunburn. A sunburn on your first day out will certainly put a damper on the rest of your fun in the sun.
